The Transition Team met on Wednesday evening and accomplished a lot in a short time. Ideas were flying around the table and it was nice to see everyone contributing. One of the suggestions was to bring back our coffee meetings. These meetings were popular with everyone. We are asking our membership for input on what types of these social gatherings would you prefer? We would like to mix up the schedule with day, evening and weekends opportunities. How often should we meet? Every month? Every three or four months? Not during the growing season? What would you like to see? We also like the idea of traveling throughout the area to include all of our participating communities. In the past we have met at coffee houses, Culvers, small restaurants and members homes. Several of our members might be willing to share something with the group. Elaine S in Evansville has hosted twice, with tours of her prairie and the neighbors solar greenhouse, delicious treats and cordial. Carol C invited everyone to see her conifer collection and Glen shared his water gardens and offered up an elegant outside tea. Jennifer E gave us a tour of her garden and a trip to the historic Cooksville Store. We are looking for ideas for these meetings, do you have something you would like to see, do, tour or offer? Please get in touch with Deb G as she will be organizing this info. Cindy, could you please add this plea to the newsletter? Thanks
