Survey Says!

Many programs involve Master Gardener Volunteers.

Changes with the UWEX-RBG horticulture educator position have individuals questioning how some programs/projects will continue. To determine the fate of some programs, it must be defined which group is ultimately responsible for management, implementation and facilitation.

The Rock Prairie Association needs a clear understanding what programs/projects are going to fall under their auspices, and which are not. This will also help define the roles and responsibilities of the Association in these projects

Below is a list of projects and programs members have been involved with over the years and currently. From your perspective, please review the list below and select who you think is ultimately responsible.

To clarify our purpose, individuals can still choose to be part of these and other volunteer opportunities. This survey is to determine the perceived role of the Association in these projects and programs. The association currently seeks your PERCEPTION of who is responsible for projects at this time. This is NOT a vote on what the association will address.

This list is not all-inclusive.  A few, hopefully obvious, projects have been added just to help with the decision making process- so don't get alarmed if your pet project is listed!!!

Only one answer may be given per choice- this is to help provide clarity. Please use the “Other” category to include Rotary Botanical Gardens and all the other non-UW-Extension organizations that MGVs may volunteer.

The results will be discussed at the December 9, 2010, business meeting.
