Winter Squash
Looks like we will be featuring winter squash (heirloom and non-heirloom varieties) next summer on the towers outside of the Hort building. I'm pretty psyched as I love eating winter squash!! If anyone has a favorite variety they think I should include let me know. I'll try to have a good representation of all the different types.

Leave it to you, Mike, to have the whole menu!! It does sound delish....
ReplyDeleteI love the Acorn Squash called "Carnival". I bought seeds from Territorial Seeds and just planted a few hills this summer. I have LOTS of this squash. It is beautiful, prolific producer, and really tasty. This is one that you can eat the rind. It is excellent in a Moroccan veggie stew with couscous.
