The Mid-Winter Fun Day, despite low attendance due to weather, was a rousing success.
Master Gardeners from Boone County, Ill, and Jefferson County, WI, joined members of the RPMGA and shared their ideas, experiences, projects, successes and in some instances, challenges.
The potluck was filled with delicious dishes, the conversation was stimulating, and there was talk of doing it again next year!
Without the invaluable assistance of Deb Grams, Jim Haseman, Bev Drew, Mary Berve, Mark Dwyer, Bev Feltz, Mary Downing, Janice Peterson, John Rockenfeld and Barb Converse this great experience couldn't have taken place. Without the generous donation of the meeting place by Rotary Botanical Gardens we wouldn't have had a place to hang our hats. Thank you to all of you dedicated MGVs and friends of MGVs for your generosity and kindness. It was a great experience that was made even greater by your involvement.
Rock Prairie Master Gardener Association members volunteer in cooperation with University of Wisconsin-Extension to provide research-based educational and community service opportunities to its members and the surrounding gardening community.
