Don't forget! Saturday is the RPMGA Mid-Winter Fun Day. Bring a dish for the pot luck, visit with master gardeners from groups around the stateline area. It's free, and should be great fun!
The event will be held in the Education Building at Rotary Botanical Gardens. Jim Haseman will be at RBG at 9 to act as tour guide for those guests that would like a tour of the gardens.
Beginning at 10 guest group representatives will introduce themselves and give short presentations about their groups.
The pot luck will begin at noon. We're providing coffee, tea, lemonade, condiments and there will be plates and silverware if you forget to bring your own. Mark Dwyer will speak on the importance of MGVs from 1 to 2 pm. RPMGA master gardeners will follow with presentations sharing information about types of volunteer projects they have been involved with.
The goal of this project is to allow RPMGA master gardeners to meet others around the stateline area - to chat together, share successes and challenges - get to know each other.
Come with personal volunteer stories and ideas. Share opportunities. We're looking forward to making new friends in master gardening.
See you there!!
Rock Prairie Master Gardener Association members volunteer in cooperation with University of Wisconsin-Extension to provide research-based educational and community service opportunities to its members and the surrounding gardening community.
