Directory Update: Volunteer Opportunities

Laura B. has volunteered to construct a directory of volunteer opportunities for the association, but school work has kept her from tackling it the way she has wanted.  I'm stepping in to lend her a hand in getting the ball rolling.

Our directory of volunteer opportunities will help connect new and existing MGVs with a variety of quality projects in the region.  It also gives us, as leadership, the opportunity to work with groups and organizations in developing high quality and meaningful projects for your participation, as necessary.

I currently have a list but it needs to be updated.  I know things and people have changed.  Please send me an update of any and all opportunities you can.

Please use this template:
  • Organization name:
  • Organization's mission statement:
  • Website:
  • Staff contact name:
  • Phone/email for more information:
  • MGV contact name: (We prefer a MGV to already be involved with the project somehow, we'll assume your contact info will be in the MGV directory, if there isn't a MGV involved, let's talk...).
  • Projects and opportunities (short, bullet point list)
  • Educational opportunities (short, bullet point list)
  • A picture of volunteers in action would be great, too!
Return to Mike ASAP.
