Come To A "Soup-er" Presentation

Maybe the blog title is a bad play on words as there really wont be any soup involved with the information provided here. However, don't forget about Janice's talk (which will be super) on Thursday night (April 7th) on "Heirlooms, Hybrids and History" from 7 pm until 8 pm. at the Parker Education Center. I'm sure tomatoes will be mentioned among many other items. The talk is free for RPMGA members (1 CEU involved) and free for RBG members. All others are asked for a $5 donation. Come support Janice, the RPMGA and education at RBG all in one fell swoop. The sculpture above is at Colorado State University and is one of three cans that were signed by Andy Warhol. This piece was re-installed in 2008 as part of the grand opening of the University Center for the Arts and was originally part of the "Andy Warhol at Colorado State University Exhibit" back in 1981. Interesting. It was also very close to the display gardens and caught my eye years ago when I was fortunate to visit.
