During the networking session immediately following the meeting Jim Haseman will give a presentation at 6 pm on a project that is being undertaken by the Janesville School District - the eradication of garlic mustard at the Janesville School Outdoor Lab (JSOL). Jim will have information on the project for all who are interested.
At 7 pm Janice Peterson will give a presentation on Heirlooms, Hybrids and History - Heirloom vegetables, addressing hybrids, as well as the history of plant breeding, seed saving and bio-diversity.
MGVs and Friends of RBG can attend the presentation at no charge. There is a $5.00 fee for the general public. MGVs will earn 1 CEU (continuing education unit) for attending.
