Horseradish On The Menu!

Don't miss the lecture on Horseradish presented by the Janesville Area Herb Society this Thursday, August 4th at 7 pm (Parker Education Center). This is the sixth (and final) installment of the RPMGA Thursday evening lecture series for 2011. Come support the presenters, the program, the RPMGA and learn something about horseradish (Armoracia rusticana). Did you know that the sharp taste and aroma of horseradish is produced/released during grating when the root cells are crushed, thereby releasing a volatile oil called isothiocyanate?
