Bulbs

It's not too late to plant spring blooming bulbs! Come to the talk on Bulbs (by me!) this Wednesday evening, October 26th from 6 pm until 8 pm at the Parker Education Center. RBG members are free while others are asked for a $5 donation. There will also be the opportunity to purchase bulbs before, during and after the presentation. After this presentation, the last two in the RBG lecture series will include Gardens of Stone on November 16th and Holiday Plants - Past & Present on December 7th. Both of these have the same fees and same time frame (6-8pm). There are more details on all three of these lectures at http://www.rotarybotanicalgardens.org/.
We've extended the deadline for registration for the Plant Appreciation Symposium on November 5th. The deadline is this Monday, October 31st! There is still room to attend this special event with four great speakers. There is also an independent opportunity on Friday night, November 4th at RBG called the Market Mingle. Check out our website for more information. If you want to see bulbs like those below...we still have room on our Netherlands trip (Keukenhof below), also on the website.
