Dave Konowal, a volunteer at Beckman Mill County Park, puts in a wonderful heritage garden (flowers, veggies, herbs) each year here on the park grounds. He uses it as a teaching tool for the public and donates the food to a local pantry. He has just turned the soil and asked me if I knew of any volunteers that may want to help plant, maintain, and harvest.
