January Pollinator Project meeting

    Canadian Tiger Swallowtail

Leaf Cutter Bee

The Rock Prairie Master Gardener Association is in the beginning stages of a major 3-5 year project on pollinators.
Blue Mason Bee
Our January meeting will be focused on constructing our basic strategy to accomplish our goals.  Questions to be answered are:
  1. Why are we doing this?
    • We have a "mission statement" project summary from Christy Marsden & Sandy Wiley.
  2. Who are we targeting?
  3. Who can partner with us?
  4. What are our goals?
  5. How are we going to accomplish our stated goals?
  6. What do we need to do to put our plans into action?
  7. What do we call this project?
Adult male ruby-throated hummingbird.

Members who have expressed an interest in this project have already been brainstorming and have basic ideas in place to answer these questions.  We would love to have other members involved in the planning and execution of this on Saturday, January 7 from 10-12 at the Hedberg Public Library, Janesville.  We will meet in the downstairs conference room by the Ground Floor coffee shop.  Hope to see you all there!
