A Botanic Talk: The Science of a Better Lawn with Dr. Doug Soldat of the University of Wisconsin, Madison.

Are you looking for a way to have a nicer looking lawn, but don’t want to put anymore time into managing it? This talk will teach you some tricks and tips for having a better looking lawn, while minimizing your effort, and protecting Wisconsin’s lakes and streams.
The University of Wisconsin-Madison has had a strong program in turf-grass management for over 50 years and this talk will draw upon the science behind better lawn management.
Cost: $7 general admission, $5 RBG Members; this event includes printed and note taking materials (where applicable), you will have access to Rotary Botanical Gardens’ grounds, and light refreshments. Please note: Refunds are not available for this program. If you paid in advance and are unable to attend, you are encouraged to send someone in your place. Carry-ins are not allowed, this includes alcohol. Those under 16 must be accompanied by an adult, who is also required to purchase a ticket.
