We had a very successful cleaning day at the community gardens today. The three RECAP gentlemen that joined us were so productive. We organized, swept and cleaned both sheds. We moved tools and supplies into manageable stacks. We also cleaned up our food totes, the refrigerators and took an inventory of our supplies. The guys were thankful to be out in the fresh air doing meaningful work. They enjoyed the strawberry rhubarb cobbler with vanilla ice cream and expressed a lot of enthusiasm for helping us out again soon.
