This blog is used to distribute timely information to association members regarding volunteer opportunities, MGV highlights, and other social tid bits.

Horticulture related information is to be directed to the Horticulture Educator or the Plant Health Advisors.

Song Sparrow attendees to meet at RBG

For all you folks who are going to Song Sparrow on Saturday, meet up at Rotary Botanical Gardens at 7 am. Those who wish can carpool, and we'll have a caravan on the way over!!

The address to the farm is:
Song Sparrow Perennial Farm
13101 E. Rye Road
Avalon, Wisconsin 53505

Plug that into Mapquest, Google Maps, or Yahoo Maps and get directions from your starting point. If you already know the location and don't want to carpool, drive on over.

Be there by eight for coffee and donuts, and be ready to shop!

I learned today that there may be some misunderstanding about who is sponsoring this event. It's not RBG, and it's not RPMGA. It's Song Sparrow. They sent a message to Mark Dwyer at RBG, inviting RBG friends and volunteers and asked him to forward the invitation on to all the RPMGA MGVs. So, although many of the attendees will be RPMGA members, some may not be. It's a perfect opportunity to make new friends.
