Rock County horticulture educator, Christy Marsden, is leaving to take a new job in Minneapolis. Upon her departure, we will be without a horticulture educator unless or until another person is allocated for us to use in that capacity. We'll keep you posted.
Christy sent out a recent letter to all MGVs explaining the changes that will be taking place. Her last official day at the UWEX office will be Wednesday of this week. She is packed and ready to go.
Individuals who wish to become Master Gardeners will be referred to Walworth County until further notice.
Christy's immediate supervisors are Angie Flickinger and Donna Durst. We will be staying in close contact with them as relates to changes in the department.

The Advisory Committee will continue to do its work providing continuing education opportunities, long-term projects such as the Pollinator Project (which could take up to five years) and any other projects that are determined to align with our mission as MGVs. Every meeting is open to all MGVs.
