Confluence staff and volunteers |
Join us on September 6 at noon when we will journey to Nature at the Confluence in South Beloit, Illinois, a haven of natural wonders in an urban setting. We are scheduled for a guided tour which will begin at 1 pm.
Follow this link to a short video that will give you a quick understanding of the purpose behind Nature at the Confluence.
MGVs, interns, family and friends are welcome to attend this field trip. There is no charge.
We will meet in the parking lot at Rotary Botanical Gardens at noon. We will park in the spaces closest to the street. Although this is a public parking area, we want to be sure our presence doesn't inconvenience anyone who will be visiting the gardens that afternoon. You can either carpool with friends or caravan with us to the event site.
We are considering stopping at Bushel and Peck in Beloit after the event for a late lunch.
This is an approved Continuing Education opportunity. MGVs and Interns will early one (1) Continuing Edcucation Unit (CEU) per hour of participation.
