Pictures from Hort Therapy Class

Leslie Leith, Horticultural Therapist, joined us for the afternoon of October 12 to talk about starting special programs for various audiences with disabilities.
Her lecture discussed the work she does as both a volunteer and an instructor at Shepherds College. 
After the PowerPoint, the class participated in a seed-mosaic craft that demonstrated how to engage participants in physical, social and cognitive activities using plant materials.
