Jenny Membrino steps down, Laurie Ott will fill the gap

RPMGA secretary Jenny Membrino has tendered her resignation due to an illness in her family.

At right Jenny is shown participating in the 2010 Volunteer Leadership Development program.

UWEX agent Mike Maddox, myself and the executive committee wish to thank Jenny for her exceptional work for the RPMGA executive committee last year and this. Jenny has been a strong part of the committee, having given freely of her time and prodigious skills. She approached her work as secretary with scrupulous attention to detail, and leavened it with a quirky sense of humor which often made meetings a bit lighter. Her contributions to the organization as a whole have been generous, noteworthy, and greatly appreciated.

Laurie Ott, a 2008 MGV graduate, is a Janesville resident. She will serve out the remainder of Jenny's term as secretary beginning with the March 3 meeting. Her background in business will make her a valuable asset to the executive committee. Welcome, Laurie!
