Last minute volunteer opportunities!!!

We have several opportunities for volunteers to get their required hours in next week. This Friday, August 19, we will be working at the Community Garden at Hwy 15 & 51 by the Sheriff's office. We will be there after 2 pm, stop by and help out if you can. Thursday, August 25 we will be harvesting several items at the Community Garden for the Garden Festival, come on out and help after 4 pm. Friday we will be meeting at the Community Garden after 9 am again to work on Shishkabobs and moving supplies to RBG. Saturday morning, August 27, Mike will need volunteers to help harvest, transport and clean tomatoes. Contact Mike to help out. Set up for Garden Festival begins at 8 am. Show up to help if you can. Shifts are available for Garden Festival in all capacities, please contact Erika if you want a shift or can help all day. We will start breaking down and cleaning up promptly at 4, you can show up to help with this also. I also need someone to put together the squash display, Janice will be busy this year. This project can be done at home and just dropped off, unless you want to man the booth. We will be feeding the recap guys on Thursday, Friday and Saturday next week, since they will be helping with the festival doing all the hard, physical labor. We would love some food donations, we have plenty of veggies but could use meat of any kind, bread and milk. Thanks, This gives you lots of options for getting those hours in. Hope to see you all sometime next week. Thanks, Deb Grams
