"Great Entrance" educational and fun

Let me start first with apologies.  I've been having computer problems, and finally got them resolved today.  Didn't get to sit down and post the outcome of "How to Make a Great Entrance" until now.

We had a good turnout for the event.  Patty Bailey kept a room full of master gardeners and guests engaged while discussing how to grow and propagate evergreens in your landscape which could be used later as holiday decorations.  She explained how to prepare the greens with anti-desiccant spray so they'll last, how to arrange them to best advantage, how to make decorative bows and add tiny birds, or glistening fruits to increase their beauty.  Her creations showed the group that a simple old fashioned perk style coffee pot could be used to make a lovely decoration with little effort, a few boughs and a bow.  Everyone in the group created beautiful designs.  The program was well received.

Below are just a few of the lovely creations and their creators.
