Need Hours? Come to our Winter Sowing Workshop at Hedberg

Get a Head Start on Your Garden

Opened mini-greenhouses
On Tuesday, February 11, 2020 beginning at 6:00 pm and running until 7:30 pm a team of master gardeners will present the fine points of Winter Sowing at Hedberg Public Library in their newly remodeled Program Room.

Using recyclable materials learn how to create mini outdoor greenhouses that gradually warm seeds and get them started in the winter months.

Dress to get dirty! Bring one or two clean one-gallon milk or water jugs and we’ll supply the rest.  A limited number of jugs will be available for those who don't bring their own.

There is no charge for this event, and no registration is necessary.

This is an approved Continuing Education event.  MGVs will earn 1 Continuing Education Unit (CEU) per hour of participation.

Hedberg Public Library is located at 316 S. Main St., Janesville.  Although there is parking on the street in front of the library you may prefer to park in the parking lot at rear of the building, enter through the ground floor doors and take the elevator to the second floor.
