"Heirlooms, Hybrids and History", the second in the Thursday Evening at Rotary Botanical Gardens series of lectures, was presented by Janice Peterson and provided a wealth of information about the history of genetics and the importance of heirlooms.
For those of us, like myself, who hadn't heard Gregor Mendel's name since MGV training, Janice's lecture was a welcome reminder of the importance of heirlooms in today's gardens and on into the future.
Thank you Janice for a well researched and beautifully presented lecture.
