Don't forget that there will be a seminar on
Perennial Division this Wednesday (April 20th) evening at the Parker Education Center (6 pm until 8 pm). This lecture is free for RBG members and $5 for everyone else. Becky Nickel will be giving this presentati

on and will go thru the various aspects of division; why, when, how, etc... Becky is a MGV member of the Rock Prairie Master Gardener Association and has had her own landscape care business for many years. We'll be pre-digging up pe

rennials from the gardens to help with her demonstration and attendees should leave with a freebie or two. The images here were taken at the gardens and we are in the midst of accomplishing lots of our spring division right now. The next lecture in this series will be
Perennial Favorites by Dr. Frank Greer. Dr. Greer is a pediatrician with the UW Medical School and has long been the president of the Wisconsin Hardy Plant Society (
www.wisconsinhardyplantsociety.com/). Dr. Greer will show many of his favorites as well as those he feels have significant merit in our landscapes. He will feature his own garden (which I've seen and it is top notch!). Do consider checking out the RBG website at
www.rotarybotanicalgardens.org and see some of the neat stuff coming up (lectures, events, collections information, spring plant sale, Home Garden Tour, work days, fall symposium, etc...). P.S. Don't forget the tree sale and Earth Day activities this upcoming Friday and Saturday!.
