Brad Herrick |
Brad holds a B.A. in Biology from Luther College and an M.S. in Ecosystems Studies from UW-Green Bay. For the past 12 years, he has been the ecologist and research program manager at the UW-Madison Arboretum. His research interests include plant community ecology, invasion biology, and environmental monitoring. He also assists in developing long-term restoration plans for Arboretum lands. Recently he has been investigating the biology, ecology, and control mechanisms of the non-native, invasive jumping worms
The event will be held at the Parker Education Center at Rotary Botanical Gardens, 1455 Palmer Drive, Janesville. This event is free and open to the public. Brad's presentation will begin at 6 pm and continue until about 7:30 pm. Be sure to bring your questions about jumping worms to the event.
RPMGA is partnering with RBG and with our fellow MGVs from the Walworth County Master Gardeners to bring this event to you.
This is an approved MGV Continuing Education event. All MGVs and interns will receive one (1) Continuing Education Unit (CEU) per hour of participation.
